Created in 2007 by two guitarists EDD and SYMHERIS, french band Think of A New Kind, more well known as T.A.N.K, is completed in 2008 with the arrivals of RAF (vocals), CLEM (drums, also in One-Way Mirror) and OLIV’ (bass).
T.A.N.K distils a powerful music, reminding the scandinavian melodic death metal and some american thrash metal.
Influenced by Pantera, In Flames, Soilwork or Meshuggah, their music is a real shell where aggressivity goes alongside melodies and technicity, to serve the roughest and tortured feelings.
Besides, their performance on stage quickly makes T.A.N.K as one of the most credible French Metal hopes.
In May 2009, the band wins the prestigious Metallian Battle Contest, which propels it on Metal Camp’s (Slovenia) and mythical Wacken Open Air’s (Germany) stages.After an eponymic EP praised by the criticism, then a featuring with Steve Petit from Zuul fx, the band returns in studio in April, 2009 to record its first full length album.
Announced for MARCH, 2010, you’ll find 13 titles songs of an incisive metal, ncluding a featuring with Guillaume Bideau, singer of Mnemic and One-Way Mirror.
